Let's lead off with a summary: THIS GUY IS FANTASTIC! We've owned dogs for 20 years but had two new puppies without training. They refused to take a lead, wouldn't pay attention, the whole works. Within two sessions from Jefferson they were taking a lead, starting to heel, and simply behaving better. Their behavior got better and better with each lesson. They were walking together or separately, sitting and downing on command, learning to ignore distractions, and moving in a crowded area without freaking out. These lessons made everybody's lives more enjoyable. If you want a good trainer, we cannot recommend Jefferson Brooks highly enough.

Jefferson was an amazing trainer for my 2 little dogs. I wanted to start to bring them to work and curve some lease aggression. I was a little concerned because my dogs are older and set in their ways that they would train very easy. Boy was I wrong. Jefferson curved the lease aggression in a couple lessons. And now I can bring my boys to work with me and they “place “ and are so very well behaved. I tell them we are good to “school “ everyday and they know they have their rules at school. It is so cute. I am so grateful for Jefferson and his training. I would highly recommend his services.

We rescued our dog Marshall in July of 2023. It was a rough start, as we did not know much of Marshalls history before. All we knew was that he was found in LA, was estimated to be 2 years old, and was pulled by the rescue the day he was supposed be euthanized. When we met Marshall he was instantly comfortable with my husband and I, and pretty quickly got along with our French bulldog, Pepper. What we came to find in the next few months after he came home, was that he was scared/protective of us when people/family would come over, and did not take direction well. We were referred to Jefferson, by the rescue, and hired him for training. This was the best decision!! Just in the first few training sessions, Marshall had become a completely different dog. His confidence is up and we can now have people over to our house without worrying how he will react. He now listens and takes direction very well, and is amazing on walks. My husband can even have him out in the garage/driveway, while working on his projects, and he doesn’t have to worry about Marshall. I would highly recommend Jefferson/Brooks Family K9! He is truly gifted at his craft and you can tell that he truly loves animals and what he does! We are so glad that we found him!! Marshall is a better dog and we are better pet owners because of him!

Jefferson has done an amazing job training my very hyper puppy. He had gone through training before, but one week with Jefferson and I had a new dog. He took time every session to explain the training, show me and have me practice extensively. The time he took with me and my puppy made a huge difference. I highly recommend him!

Currently halfway through my training course and I’m be completely honest with you all I have a 3month old husky her name is Miyu although she wasn’t a puppy we plan to get I instantly knew I wanted to do training for her when we first got her she was about 5 weeks old and I could already see how crazy she was going to be I had no idea where to find training that was not only going to be comfortable for my puppy but also for myself while still keeping the quality of the training (keep in mind I have bad social anxiety) Fortunately, for me, I had a friend recommend Brooks family k9 and when I tell you, this was the best decision I could have ever made even with that said thats not even coming close to how amazing this process has been! I don’t think I could ever explain properly how grateful I am being able to see how far my puppy has come makes me so happy and A very proud dog mom My puppy has learned so much and we’ve been able to see how insanely smart she is I was having a lot of trouble because she’s a very hyperactive puppy and walking with her was a pain But now it’s so different I feel like I have a different dog (in a good way) walking with her is so nice now she’s a lot better behaved and she has so much fun while training On top of everything I have learn how to potty train her to go outside!!! She’s still learning but like I Mentioned before she is insanely smart so she is catching on so much quicker especially with all the amazing tips and tricks that have been provided to me Honestly if you’re looking for training you don’t have to look much further brooks family k9 will take great care of you and your dog !
